ToadHall Garden Centre walled garden

About

In 1952, Toby and Skit Stubbs purchased an overgrown walled garden next to Fawley Court. Originally growing vegetables, they transitioned to cultivating plants in 1960—and a garden centre was born. In 1972, their son Tony joined and soon expanded the centre with a shop (1975) and garden machinery department (1984).

Now run by the third Stubbs generation, Toad Hall Garden Centre still focuses on one core principle: the best plants, backed by deep knowledge and enthusiasm. Many of our staff have been with us for over a decade; our longest-serving team member dates back to 1978.
